Who runs the series
Hillenburg was showrunner from 1999 to 2004. Paul Tibbitt followed him. Marc Ceccarelli and Vincent Waller run the series now. Hillenburg died in 2018.

Season 17 is still open
This guide lists the season 17 half-hours that had aired by 28 August 2026, ending with Rock Bottom Games / Clicking with a Clique. Later episodes are left out until they air. Seasons 18 and 19 were renewed on 9 June 2026 and are not in the list.
